Looking for a peaceful and cozy place to call home? This fully furnished 1-bedroom in a downstairs unit in Hillcrest, North Shore, could be just what you need.

* 3-min drive to Glenfield Mall, 7 mins to Wairau Valley, 8 mins to North Shore Hospital, 4 mins to Birkenhead, 5 mins to Northcote & AUT North Campus, 15-min drive to the CBD
* Bus stop 5 mins away, easy access to the motorway
About the Space: You’ll be renting a private bedroom in a friendly home shared with me, a healthcare professional in my late 20s. I work early shifts and travel often, so the house is generally quiet and peaceful.
The kitchen is available for you to use if you enjoy cooking (I don’t cook much). I’m looking for someone who has minimal belongings and a flexible lifestyle. A solo female tenant is preferred, but I’m open to two females. Short or long term is fine.
I’m also looking for someone who is clean and respectful, especially with my things like the TV and the landlord’s property (walls, etc.). The walk-in wardrobe has some of my items, but there’s plenty of space for your things. I am also open to moving some of my things. Storage room is also available (which we share with the upstairs tenant). I’m currently in the process of downsizing my belongings.
Pricing:
* $285/week for 1 person
* $330/week for 2 people (2 females)
* $380/week for a couple
***$35 extra per week for working from home***

* Portable TV with Netflix (you’re welcome to use it)
* Heater
* Single bed in the living room (can be moved)
* Linens and pillows can be provided.
* Table can be provided.
Security:
* Indoor security camera
* Gated property for added security
Parking:
* Plenty of on-street parking (Wide roads)
* Off-street parking (shed parking), when I’m out of town.
Visitors: You’re welcome to have visitors (max 4 overnight). This isn’t a party house, so please keep the noise to a minimum after 9pm (for the comfort of everyone including tenants upstairs). Clean up after your guests. 😊

* No smokers, drugs, or illegal activities allowed.
* Last year photos. Photos of the room are just taken today. The layout of the living room, dining room, and kitchen has changed.
A Note About My Parents:
My parents typically visit me once or twice a year, staying for up to 2 months at a time. Occasionally, they may not visit for an entire year, as I sometimes travel to see them instead. Their next visit is likely to be this July. When they do visit, they’ll stay in my bedroom and living room, with a divider in place to ensure privacy. We often travel together, so they are mostly not at home unless I’m working, which is typically four weekdays a week. My parents are quiet, welcoming, and enjoy watching TV or doing light household chores while I’m at work. Their presence will not interfere with any tenants, as their visits are arranged to ensure your privacy and comfort.
