A vibrant and growing firm in Parnell that offers variety of services to client has a fabulous opportunity for a BAS/Consulting Senior Accountant to take on compliance and consulting focused role.

Below is a brief description and requirements for the successful candidate:

3+ years NZ CA Business Advisory Experience
High level of professionalism and enthusiasm
Positive Attitude and Excellent Communication skills a must
The ability to work in a team to meet goals of both the team and the firm
The ability to manage client relationships autonomously
A genuine interest in businesses and solving client’s problems
Good knowledge of NZ tax and strong financial reporting skills
Strong accuracy and attention to detail
Good level of computer skills essential and XERO Certified or advanced level with XERO
Social and soft skills with ability to engage in conversations with clients and colleagues

Duties will include:

Preparation of annual, management and special purpose financial reports for a variety of different entities, and sizes
Compilation of Income Tax returns, GST, PAYE, FBT and other compliance work as required
Business plan, financial plan including cashflow budgets and projections
Some exposure to due diligence, business restructures, and business valuations
Direct contact with client on compliance matters
Liaising with clients, IRD and other third parties as and when required as part of the various projects and consultancy work the firm enters into
