A vibrant and growing firm in Parnell that offers variety of services to client has a fabulous opportunity for a BAS/Consulting Assistant Manager to take on compliance and consulting focused managerial role.

Below is a brief description and requirements for the successful candidate:
5+Â years NZ CA Business Advisory Experience
High level of professionalism and enthusiasm
Positive Attitude and Excellent Communication skills a must
The ability to work in a team to meet goals of both the team and the firm
The ability to manage the team and client relationships autonomously
A genuine interest in businesses and solving client’s problems
Good knowledge of NZ tax and strong financial reporting skills
Strong accuracy and attention to detail
Good level of computer skills essential and XERO Certified or advanced level with XERO
Social and soft skills with ability to engage in conversations with clients and colleagues
CORE DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide general business advisory and consulting services as required
Review of business structures set ups and restructures
Preparation of business plans, Budgets, Cash-flow forecast and special reports
Business Acquisition and Disposal analytics – Due Diligence
Costing and Management Reporting
IT solution and process enhancement
Business Investment analysis and funding work
Business valuations and capital raise
Creditor Compromise and insolvency turn around engagements
Written and Oral Communication with clients and on behalf of clients to IRD and other organisations
Representation of company at seminars, trainings, marketing and networking events
Assisting with review, Preparation & Compilation of Financial Reports for all entities that the firm services, Sole trader, Companies, LTC, Partnerships, Limited Partnerships, Trusts,
Assisting with review and Preparation of Company, Trust, Partnership and Individual Income Tax Returns prepared by inhouse team and/or outsourcing teams.
Assisting with review of GST, PAYE, DWT, FBT Returns
Provide taxation opinion and research on various taxation and other issues as appropriate
Supervision and management of staff accounting and support staff
Participation in the growth of the firm
To be first point of contact with clients and prospective clients as required
Marketing and selling of the services of the firm
