Vendor Biography
Oyayi was born out of a dream to connect New Zealand-based Filipino children to their roots.
Oyayi is managed by a Filipino mum based in New Zealand. Jade Munoz is the New Zealand Book Fairy, the founder of Books on the Bus NZ and the person behind Filipino Children’s Library.
This year, she took over ownership of Oyayi from other mums who shared a common goal. We hoped to encourage the next generation of Filipino-Kiwis to embrace their roots and integrate it with the culture we have here in New Zealand. We hope they grow up proud of their heritage.
