✨ Creating Core Memories: Our Family & Friends Trip to Hong Kong, South Korea, and Japan ✨

Our Hanbok experience at the Gyeongbokgung Palace, South Korea

As an ICU nurse in NZ – though only working part-time at 0.6 FTE since 2016 – I’m constantly reminded how precious time is. Every shift teaches me that life can change in a heartbeat. That’s why, for me, being “rich” isn’t just about money. I may not be rich in wealth, but I’m rich in lifestyle, friendships, community, and family.

This past school holiday, I took time off to travel with my parents, and friends – a total of 10 adults and 5 kids – to Hong Kong, South Korea, and Japan. It was more than just a holiday; it was a celebration of togetherness, time freedom, and creating memories that will last a lifetime.

🌏 A Journey of Cultures, Food, and Connection

In Japan, we explored temples, rode the bullet train, and learned how to navigate the busy train systems together. The kids had fun practicing their chopstick skills, tasting matcha ice cream, enjoying Japanese desserts, and even discovering how delicious convenience store food can be!

We laughed our hearts out at Universal Studios Japan and felt the magic at Tokyo Disneyland – my son’s first ever Disney experience at 8 years old, even though he’s been traveling since he was just 4 months old. Seeing his excitement reminded me why we work hard – so our children can have core memories that money can’t buy.

In South Korea, we admired the culture and traditions that beautifully blend the old and the new. In Hong Kong, we spent time reminiscing and enjoying local food together, grateful that our parents could still join us and travel while they can.

❤️ Remembering the “Why”

This trip was a powerful reminder that we shouldn’t wait for the “perfect time” to pause and enjoy life. Many of us juggle work, business, and family here in New Zealand, but time freedom – being able to step away, travel, and live in the moment – is what truly matters.

Our kids will grow up faster than we realize. While they still enjoy the magic of Disneyland and the thrill of new places, now is the time to go on adventures with them.

🙏 Grateful Beyond Words

I want to express my heartfelt thanks to my dear friends Toni, Ivan, Pete, Melody, Tim, Aia, Byron, and all the kids who helped make this trip such a memorable one. Special thanks as well to our trusted travel agent for over a decade now, Daniel Bloomfield, for always making our travel plans seamless and worry-free.

I’m also grateful for my journey in property ownership and investments, and for the incredible mentors and coaches who continue to guide me – Crestine, Kuya Rex, and Kuya Ivan – especially after our recent Prosper Faster Summit. By the way 6 adults from our trip were an attendee of our seminar and the other 2 are also investors. Our coaches mentorship has inspired us to keep growing not only in property but also in stock investing, employment, and through Atomy.

Their wisdom and encouragement have helped me create opportunities that support a truly balanced, meaningful, and purpose-driven life – one that allows me to enjoy both financial growth and time freedom with the people who matter most.

Manifesting Atomy Diamond Mastership this November so I’m flying to China May next year and hopefully be back in South Korea! 🥰

This trip wasn’t about luxury – it was about love, laughter, and living fully. Surrounded by respected community leaders, dear friends, and family, I was reminded that life’s true wealth lies in the moments we share and the memories we make.

Because at the end of the day, being rich isn’t about having it all – it’s about appreciating all that you already have. 💖✈️
