As I celebrate another year of life this August, I want to take a moment to thank YOU – our growing community of Pinoys in NZ (imagine almost 200k na po tayo! hindi na yata umalis ang mga pumunta na ng Aussie and meron din mga pamilya na parating pa and those that are planning to apply in NZ) – for the love, support, and shared journey we’ve had.
This month is extra special for me — not just because it’s my birthday 🥳, but because I’m stepping into a new chapter with a renewed purpose.
🌟 I’m honoured to share that I’ve officially accepted the role as a Director of the New Zealand Philippines Business Council (NZPBC) — an organisation dedicated to building stronger business and cultural ties between our two beloved countries.
As a passionate advocate for Filipino migrants, nurses, mums, and small business owners in Aotearoa, this new role is not just a title — it’s a responsibility I take to heart.
More than just candles on a cake, birthdays for me are about purpose and people.
This year as well, my wish is to reach more Filipinos in NZ who need guidance, connection, or a helping hand. Whether it’s through property investing, business building, or simply finding a support system — I want us all to prosper together.
