She was born to be a backbone of the healthcare system but has an inner passion in her heart to be a realtor. A fresh face in the real estate business with a unique background of a skilled nurse- she is Mariel Alvizo of Barfoot and Thompson.
She always wanted to become a real estate agent after she managed some properties in Cebu and turned them into Airbnb business. She even added,” Mas happy ako dito sa real estate kaya sabi ko pag-transfer ko sa NZ, I’ll pursue this industry.”
Mariel has always been compassionate and attentive in nature and leverage in active listening to truly understand her client’s need. And since finding clients is always the hardest part of real estate, she shared that her most memorable experience was when she spent an hour on her car convincing herself to go out coz she’s intimidated to door knock and prospect. But she always choose to go back to her long-term goal which is to be one of the trusted real estate agents here in Auckland and so she pushed herself to really get out there and talk to people.
And now she is poised to bring a refreshing blend of care and professionalism as she aims to widen her network this year, build more relationships and sell a number of houses.
