I want to share something that really touched my heart. You know the saying, “When you are blessed, you become a blessing to others”? That’s exactly what this story is about.
But before I tell you about the amazing work of Elegant Kiwi Homes, I want to share a personal moment that made this even more special.
A Night to Remember 💖
This year, my husband Andrew and I attended the first-ever Property Investor Conference and Gala Night in 2024. It was such a special night filled with inspiring stories, new connections, and a few surprises.
Being there with Andrew made it even more memorable. We listened to stories of people’s journeys, their struggles, and their wins. It was a reminder of how important it is to surround yourself with people who share the same dreams and values.
One of the best parts of the night was meeting the couple behind Elegant Kiwi Homes, Ivan and Elizabeth Presquito.
A Power Couple Making a Difference
Ivan and Elizabeth’s journey is so inspiring. They started from zero as immigrants, and now they’ve built over 200 homes and created a multi-million-dollar portfolio. Their hard work and dedication remind us all that anything is possible when you don’t give up.
What makes their story even more special is how they use their success to give back. They truly believe in sharing their blessings, and that message really stayed with me.
Building Homes, Saving Lives
Elegant Kiwi Homes isn’t just about building houses—it’s about making a difference. Right now, they are working on a project that will use all the profits from one of their homes to buy a St John Ambulance for Christchurch.
As a nurse in the Emergency Department, this really hits close to home for me. Ambulances are so important in saving lives. Every second counts, and having the right equipment can make all the difference in an emergency.

This project shows how Filipinos in New Zealand are doing great things not just for themselves but for the wider community. Whether it’s by spreading the word, attending events, or supporting the cause, there are so many ways we can all help.
